Journal of Systems Science and Mathematical Sciences (ISSN 1000-0577, CN 11-2019/O1), a bimonthly Chinese journal, is sponsored by Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Prof. Hanfu Chen has been acting as the Editor-in-Chief.

The journal aims at publishing academic papers in systems science and mathematical sciences with originality in theory and methodology and scientific-technical reports creatively solving practical problems. News on important academic activities may also be briefly reported. The scope of JSSMS covers system theory, system modeling, system control, system analysis, system management, system engineering, information processing, mathematical physics, mathematical statistics, computer mathematics, com-binatorics and optimization, operations research, applied functional analysis and relevant topics in modern mathematics.

At the beginning of 2005, an information management system for the journal was developed. This system supports authors for online submissions, referees for review papers, editors and the official staff for online handling the submissions. This greatly speeds up the processing of the manuscripts.
The journal will make greater progress with the efforts of all our editors, reviews, authors and readers.
